When you think about it the cool, calculated menace integral to many of the more prominent roles Jared Harris has taken on in recent years seem a perfect match for a Hammer Horror film. And so it comes to pass as the actor leads us into an encounter with The Quiet Ones, out in cinemas right now.
Harris plays a university Professor with a dangerous, and most certainly extra-curricular, interest in not only studying paranormal incidents but in creating them. Known to many from Mad Men and the recent Sherlock Holmes film, in which he did a fine turn as another Professor, Harris is a fine actor and a pleasure to interview. Ben Mortimer spouts questions.
