However, as you can see from the Tweets below – which come from Variety reporter Brent Lang – it all depends on how soon the scripts for Episode VIII and beyond can be ready, with Horn set to visit J.J. Abrams in London this week to check on the current draft of the untitled Star Wars Episode VII.
Despite the fact that Captain America: The Winter Soldier has held the top spot at the North American box office for the past three weeks and is already closing in on 0 million worldwide, Horn also revealed that Disney are wary about pitting the third instalment against Batman Vs. Superman on May 6th, 2016.
That’s definitely a surprise considering the fact that Marvel have already confirmed the date, but Ant-Man was moved after a similar announcement, so we’ll still have to wait and see who moves first!
