Roman Coppola’s A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III has been teasing us brilliantly this month, with a handful of great new images, and an intriguing set of teaser posters earlier in the week.
The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived, with Apple releasing the first trailer for the film, along with another great, neon teaser poster.
“Set in a stylized Los Angeles, A GLIMPSE INSIDE THE MIND OF CHARLES SWAN III is a playful comedy of lost love, friendship, revenge fantasies, and Brandy Alexanders. Charles (Charlie Sheen) is a successful graphic designer whose fame, money and charm have provided him with a seemingly perfect life. When his true love, a perplexing beauty named Ivana, suddenly breaks off their relationship, Charles’ life falls apart, and he swirls into a downward spiral of doubt, confusion and reflection. With the support of his loyal intimates—Kirby (Jason Schwartzman), Saul (Bill Murray), and his sister, Izzy (Patricia Arquette)—he begins the hard road of self-evaluation to come to terms with a life without Ivana.
The film begs the question: Is it possible to love and hate someone at the same time?”
Charlie Sheen leads an all-star cast as the eponymous Charles Swan III, starring alongside Bill Murray, Aubrey Plaza, Patricia Arquette, Jason Schwartzman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Katheryn Winnick.
Coppola is directing from his own script, and produces alongside Youree Henley (Somewhere, The Bling Ring).
A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III will be released in the US on 8th February, 2013, which is definitely a date to commit to memory.
