Led by four of the biggest names in the industry, Last Vegas is being pitched as The Hangover of Hollywood heavyweights, and what better time to launch the first teaser trailer than on the cusp of The Hangover Part III’s release?
All four of Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Kline are Academy Award winners, and the leading quartet are making for a nice change of pace by going down the straight comedy route here in Last Vegas. And like this teaser promises, they should be like we’ve never seen them before.
Billy (Michael Douglas), Paddy (Robert De Niro), Archie (Morgan Freeman) and Sam (Kevin Kline) have been best friends since childhood. So when Billy, the group’s sworn bachelor, finally proposes to his thirty-something (of course) girlfriend, the four head to Las Vegas with a plan to stop acting their age and relive their glory days. However, upon arriving, the four quickly realize that the decades have transformed Sin City and tested their friendship in ways they never imagined. The Rat Pack may have once played the Sands and Cirque du Soleil may now rule the Strip, but it’s these four who are taking over Vegas.
Douglas, De Niro, Freeman, and Kline star alongside Jerry Ferrara, Mary Steenburgen, and Romany Malco.
Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure, Cool Runnings) is at the helm here, directing from a script penned by Dan Fogelman (Cars; Crazy, Stupid, Love.).
Last Vegas will be hitting US theatres on November 1st, with its UK release date set just in time for Christmas on 20th December. Here’s the first teaser trailer and a new image to get you in the mood.
