Over the weekend, the most glamorous F1 race of the season hit our TV screens as the Monaco Grand Prix was in full flow. During qualifying on Saturday, the BBC aired a brand new featurette for Ron Howard’s new movie, ‘Rush’ which gave us the first on-set footage and interviews from the movie.
Rush focuses on the rivalry between F1 legend’s German driver Niki Lauda and British driver James Hunt. Both had a very different ethos in how to live their lives and how to race their cars out on track and this new movie looks to investigate this further by bringing the story to the big screen. Chris Hemsworth portrays Hunt while Daniel Brühl takes on the role as Lauder. During the 4 minute featurette, we get to hear from both of them as well as Director Ron Howard about making the movie which is currently being shot right here in the UK.
