Paul Walker and Vin Diesel are back this spring in the highly anticipated Fast and Furious 6, the follow-up to 2011’s immensely successful Fast Five.
Diesel has promised that the film’s trailer will be premiering at the Super Bowl, giving us less than one week now until it arrives. And we can’t wait to see it.
Earlier this month, we got our first look at Michelle Rodriguez, reprising her role in the franchise after a brilliant mid-credits scene in Fast Five. And whilst we wait for the trailer, Universal have released a great new image with Walker and Diesel front and centre.
The plot details are being kept under wraps for now, which is just how we like it. But we can expect that to change – hopefully only a little – when the first trailer lands.
Starring alongside Walker, Diesel, and Rodriguez is another brilliant cast, headed up by Jordana Brewster, Dwayne Johnson, Luke Evans, Joe Taslim, Tyrese Gibson, Gina Carano, Gal Gadot, and the excellent Sung Kang.
Justin Lin is back in the director’s chair, having helmed the third, fourth, and fifth instalments, and he’s directing from a script penned by Chris Morgan, who’s written all the films in the series that Lin has directed.
Fast and Furious 6 will be hitting the big screen on 24th May in the UK and US, and that is definitely a date you’ll want to commit to memory. This is going to be awesome. For now, here’s the great new image, which you can click through to enlarge.
