The second season of HBO’s Game of Thrones premiered on Sunday night in the US, earning the show its highest ratings yet with a little under 4 million viewers. It then headed to UK screens on Sky Atlantic Monday night, and from what I’ve been hearing, the season has kicked off to a fantastic start.

A new video has surfaced via the show’s YouTube channel, showing clips from the new season alongside fans’ reactions via Twitter, in 140 characters or less. If you want to send in your reactions about the new season – you might see yourself in one of these if another video surfaces – then you can head over to GOT140.com here.

Each day, fans are given a word with which to describe the show and submit their responses in 140 character or less. Today’s word of the day: ‘Shadow’.

Adapting George R. R. Martin’s original A Song of Fire and Ice novels, this second season continues on from the first highly critically-acclaimed season, starring Lena Headey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Maisie Williams, Emilia Clarke, Harry Lloyd, Kit Harington, and of course the brilliant Peter Dinklage, who won both an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his performances in the first season.

The next episode will be airing in the US on Sunday night, followed a day later on Sky Atlantic here in the UK. Here’s the new video of fans’ reactions to whet your appetites. And to catch up on all we’ve seen prior to the premiere, including our interviews with the cast, just click right here.
