Last week, I got to see what has quickly become my favourite movie of 2012 so far. It’s called Lockout and see Guy Pearce in a role like you’ve never seen him before. He’s bulked up and can be seen kicking down doors at a space station near you from this Friday, 20th April.
Following the screening, I got to chat with the Aussie star about this new role where he plays a sarcastic action hero who spends most the movie delivering fantastic one-liners throughout. We look at where the character of ‘Snow’ came from, how he developed him into what we see on the screen and also how this $30m movie compares to shooting something like Prometheus. I also ask him about how he picks his movies and how he’s been able to avoid making a terrible movie throughout his career.
Have a watch below and then book your tickets to go and see Lockout this Friday because it really is a great movie!
