Django-Unchained-PosterDjango Unchained will finally be arriving in US theatres tomorrow, and is one of two of the biggest films of the year to hit the big screen on Christmas Day in the States.

The awards and nominations have already been pouring in for Tarantino’s latest, and there’s no doubt that it’s one of the best and most anticipated films of the year.

We saw a great new TV spot for the film last week, and with its release now so close, Yahoo Movies have released a brilliant new trailer, featuring the John Legend track, Who Did That To You, written for the film.

“Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award(R)-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award(R)-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles–dead or alive.”

Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and Leonardo DiCaprio take the lead, for one of the best leading casts of the year, joined by Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Jonah Hill, Don Johnson, and Walton Goggins.

Tarantino is naturally once more directing from his own script, with past collaborators Bob and Harvey Weinstein serving as executive producers.

Django Unchained will be hitting US theatres tomorrow, on Christmas Day. Its UK release date is coming slightly later, due out on 18th January on our shores, but when it comes to Tarantino, there’s no doubt that it’s going to be every bit worth the wait. Here’s the latest trailer to prove it. Enjoy.
