Vince-Vaughn-in-Delivery-ManFollowing the success of the French-Canadian original, Delivery Man was put into production at DreamWorks as the US remake, and boasts not only a brilliant male lead in Vince Vaughn, but an incredibly successful producer in Steven Spielberg.

Previously titled The Delivery Man, the film has now dropped the ‘The’ in its name. And with its release about half a year away, the great first teaser trailer has landed over on Yahoo Movies.

An affable underachiever finds out he’s fathered 533 children through anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years ago. Now he must decide whether or not to come forward when 142 of them file a lawsuit to reveal his identity.

Vaughn is joined by a great supporting cast, led by Cobie Smulders, Chris Pratt, and Britt Robertson.

Ken Scott is directing from his own script, having written and directed the French-Canadian original 2011 hit comedy, Starbuck.

As a big fan of pretty much everything Vaughn does, I can’t wait to see him back on the big screen here. The Internship looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun this summer, and this first look at Delivery Man sets the tone nicely for the fourth-quarter film.

Delivery Man is set to be released in the UK on 11th October, and has just had its US release date set back a little to November 22nd, which will (somewhat intriguingly) see it open opposite The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
