Affleck Damon

Former Bourne Matt Damon and future Batman Ben Affleck are set to team up once again, but this time for a multi-cam comedy on CBS. A pilot episode for More Time With Family has already been ordered by the network, and Damon and Affleck will executive produce through Pearl Street Films.

According to Variety, the project stars Tom Papa as a husband and father who makes a career change in order to spend more time with his family.

Papa co-wrote the pilot and worked with Damon in Steven Soderbergh’s The Informant! and Behind the Candelabra. The other writers are Josh Goldsmith (The King of Queens) and his wife/writing partner, Cathy Yuspa (What Women Want).

That’s all we know for now, but a project like this fits in nicely with the type of shows normally produced by CBS. As the network have ordered a “put pilot” (meaning they will have to pay a heavy penalty should they decide to pass on it), the chances of More Time With Family being picked up for a first season are high.
