Bullet-to-the-Head-PosterSylvester Stallone returns to the big screen today in Bullet to the Head, following up the astounding success of last year’s The Expendables 2, which took north of 0m. around the world.

The first two trailers that debuted last year promised plenty of action, which is just what you want from Stallone.

And now we’ve got an exclusive new clip from the film to share, in which Jason Momoa shows no mercy, unloading a slew of bullets into a room full of people.

“Based upon a Matz and Colin Wilson graphic novel, Stallone plays Jimmy Bobo, a hitman who teams with a young NYPD detective (Sung Kang) in a high-stakes investigation that leads from the dingy back alleys of New Orleans all the way to the power corridors of New Orleans. The unlikely duo, brought together by two vicious murders, take on all who stand in their way, and are willing to sacrifice everything to exact revenge.”

Starring alongside Stallone is an impressive cast, headed up by Momoa (Conan the Barbarian), Christian Slater (True Romance), Sarah Shahi (Fairly Legal), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (The Bourne Identity), and the brilliant Sung Kang (Fast Five).

Walter Hill (Last Man Standing) is at the helm, directing from a script he co-wrote with Alessandro Camon (The Messenger), based upon Alexis Nolent (a.k.a. Matz) and Colin Wilson’s original graphic novel.

And to top it all off, the ever-brilliant Joel Silver (Die Hard, Sherlock Holmes) serves as producer, reuniting with Sly after working together in the ’90s on Demolition Man and Assassins.

Bullet to the Head is released in the UK and US today, 1st February. If you’re looking for an action-filled and adrenaline-fuelled blockbuster this weekend, this looks to be a very safe bet.
