Anchorman-2:-The-Legend-Continues-Quad-Poster-sliceIt’s hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner, and with it will be coming Ron Burgundy, with Will Ferrell making an anticipated return in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.

The comedy sequel reunites Ferrell with the original cast, along with a slew of new faces. With less than a month to go before the film hits cinemas, Paramount has released a new TV spot, via Collider, teasing Burgundy and co.’s total lack of political correctness.

With the ’70s behind him, San Diego’s top rated newsman, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), returns to the news desk in “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues.” Also back for more are Ron’s co- anchor and wife, Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), weather man Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), man on the street Brian Fontana (Paul Rudd) and sports guy Champ Kind (David Koechner) – All of whom won’t make it easy to stay classy…while taking the nation’s first 24-hour news channel by storm.

Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and David Koechner complete the leading quartet, with Christina Applegate returning alongside them as Veronica Corningstone. And the five are joined by a fantastic ensemble, led by Kristen Wiig, Greg Kinnear, Harrison Ford, Josh Lawson, Fred Willard, Chris Parnell, Luke Wilson, and Vince Vaughn.

Adam McKay is behind the camera once more, directing from a script he and Ferrell co-wrote, with the two also producing with Judd Apatow and Kevin Messick.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues will be released on December 20th in the US and UK. To help make the wait a little easier, here’s a little bit of Ron Burgundy being his usual, uncensored self. Enjoy.
