Born in 1991, I am a true 90s child. CiTV’s Old Skool Weekend on 5th and 6th January was ever so exciting, as I’m sure many of you agree, and it inspired me to compile a list of my top 20 favourite 90s childhood films.

20) Free Willy (1993)
What I remember most about Free Willy is thinking: how did they get that whale to jump over that massive wall?! It was only upon watching it a couple of years ago that I realised how obviously fake this iconic scene is.
I don’t think it ruined it for me though, I just see it as a wonderful example of childish naivety.
