Bruce-Willis-and-Jai-Courtney-in-A-Good-Day-to-Die-HardA Good Day to Die Hard marks the fifth instalment in the immensely successful franchise. Bruce Willis is back for more action as he reprises the cult classic role of John McClane, and things are looking good.

We caught a new UK trailer at the start of the year, and saw the latest TV spot earlier this week, which confirmed that the film will indeed be R-rated in the US, as we hoped.

With its release now officially under a month away, a great new image of Willis and on-screen son, Jai Courtney, has now been released.

“Bruce Willis is back as iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane, who for the first time finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack (Jai Courtney) — unaware that Jack is really a highly-trained CIA operative out to stop a nuclear weapons heist. With the Russian underworld in pursuit, and battling a countdown to war, the two McClanes discover their opposing methods make them unstoppable heroes.”

Starring alongside the leading McClane duo will be Yuliya Snigir, Cole Hauser, and Sebastian Koch, with the ever-brilliant Mary Elizabeth Winstead reprising her role as Willis’ daughter, Lucy McClane.

John Moore (Max Payne) is behind the camera, directing from a script by Skip Woods (Hitman).

A Good Day to Die Hard will be released in the UK and US on 14th February, giving audiences a perfect explosive and action-heavy alternative to those venturing out to theatres over the Valentine’s weekend. For now, here’s the latest image, proving that Willis and Courtney aren’t going to be in for a smooth ride.
