This afternoon, not only have we had a rather awesome new banner released for the upcoming James Bond film, Skyfall, the official website – 007.com – has also revealed four character posters on the same theme, giving us a separate close-up look at Daniel Craig, Bérénice Marlohe, Javier Bardem, and Naomie Harris.

The first two full-length trailers that hit last week were just a little bit brilliant, and we can’t wait to see how it all unfolds a few months’ time.

“In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”

The quartet will be joined by Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace, and of course, Dame Judi Dench.

Sam Mendes (American Beauty) is making his Bond debut behind the camera, with a script co-written by Bond-frequents Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, and the ever-brilliant John Logan (Gladiator, Coriolanus).

Skyfall will be released in regular and IMAX theatres on 26th October here in the UK, before heading across the Atlantic for a 9th November release in the US. All signs point to it being immense, and it looks like Bond will be back and better than ever in no time. As usual with these great new posters, you can click to enlarge.
