Golden-Globe-Awards-LogoWith the awards season very much in full swing, the 2014 Golden Globes were held out in Beverly Hills last night, with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosting the event once more.

The awards are noted for being one of the few major prizes to divide the categories by genre – i.e. giving one for Drama and one for Musical or Comedy in the Motion Picture Categories. So using them to predict what comes next in the likes of the BAFTAs and the Oscars can naturally be difficult. Regardless, it’s clear that Steve McQueen’s 12 Years a Slave and David O. Russell’s American Hustle were big winners last night, and both continue to build momentum towards the awards still to come.

As we eagerly await the Oscar nominations announcement later this week, here’s the full list of winners from last night’s 2014 Golden Globes. A great way to start the week.
