Starring Richard Coyle in the lead, the English-language remake of Nicolas Winding Refn’s acclaimed Pusher will be hitting theatres next month, and after seeing the UK poster and trailer land back in February, the US versions of each have now made their way online.

Both are pretty much identical (the trailer, especially), but until now we haven’t known the film’s release date, and now Radius/TWC have set it for a VoD release next weekend on 28th September, followed by a theatrical release on 26th October in the US.

“Based on the edgy and explosive series by visionary director Nicolas Winding Refn (DRIVE, BRONSON), a London drug dealer (Coyle) grows increasingly desperate over the course of a week after a botched deal leaves him with a large debt to a ruthless drug lord.”

Luis Preto is behind the camera for the remake, with Nicolas Winding Refn still on board as executive producer, with Preto directing from a script by Matthew Read, and Coyle starring alongside Bronson Webb and Agyness Deyn.

Pusher will be released in the UK on 12th October, and will be released through VoD on 28th September and theatrically on 26th October in the US.
