The casting of Jennifer Garner, Olivia Wilde, and Ty Burrell in the leads of an R-rated comedy definitely has my interest piqued, and after the first trailer for Butter finally debuted last week, we’ve now got the first poster to share.
Ashley Greene, Alicia Silverstone, Rob Corddry, Kristen Schaal, Yara Shahidi, and Hugh Jackman star alongside them, and with the film being R-rated for language and sexual content, I think we could be in for some fun.

Jim Field Smith (She’s Out Of My League, Episodes) behind the camera for his second feature, directing from a script penned by newcomer Jason A. Miccalef.
Butter will be released in the US by Radius/The Weinstein Company on 5th October. As yet, there’s still no word on a UK release, but with all the talent involved, I’m hoping we’ll see it before the year’s out, too. For now, enjoy the first look at the film’s poster.
