Martin McDonagh’s Seven Psychopaths is just a few weeks away from its world debut at TIFF, and after getting a brilliant first trailer this week, the anticipation is even higher for the writer-director’s follow-up to the Oscar-nominated In Bruges.
Seven brilliant new character posters have variously debuted online, following the great first trailer, giving us a look at all the main players, along with a nice hi-res version of them all lined up in the first poster we caught back in April.
Colin Farrell leads the all-star cast, and will be joined by Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Walken, Tom Waits, Abbie Cornish, and Olga Kurylenko.
“An alcoholic screenwriter (Colin Farrell) struggling to write a serial-killer script gets more real-life inspiration than he can handle when a dognapping scheme gone awry brings a galaxy of crazies to his doorstep. Seven Psychopaths will debut at TIFF next month, before heading to the US for a 12th October release, which could well suggest an awards campaign could be on the way, given McDonagh’s past credits. Still no word on a UK release date, but we’re really hoping it will be sooner rather than later. For now, enjoy this brilliant new character posters, all of which you can click to enlarge.
