Last week, we got the first two brilliant images from Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story short, Partysaurus Rex, and now the first sneak peek clip has found its way online.
The film will be attached to the release of Finding Nemo 3D, which will be hitting US theatres next month, before a later release in the UK next year.
Mark Walsh will be making his directorial debut, having been an animator on the likes of Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and Toy Story 2, and he had this to say of the project:
“What I was going for was, you move to a new town and make new friends, and suddenly you think you have this chance where you can reinvent yourself,” says Walsh. “I love that Rex, in his sweetness, thinks he can reinvent who he is in the image of a party animal.”
Partysaurus Rex will be attached to Finding Nemo 3D, which will be released in US theatres on 14th September, before heading across the Atlantic for an unfortunately much later release on 29th March, 2013. Disney and Pixar never fail to delight with their films, short or feature, and we can’t wait to see how this latest little gem will turn out.
