Steven Soderbergh is back behind the camera with Magic Mike for what could be his third-last outing before retiring.

The first trailer debuted last month and gave such a great look at the film, and now Lionsgate have uploaded the brilliant first UK trailer ahead of its release on our shores this summer.

Starring Channing Tatum in the lead, the film is based on Tatum’s own experiences as a male stripper when he was younger, with Reid Carolin making his screenwriting debut.

“Set in the world of male strippers, “Magic Mike” is directed by Steven Soderbergh and stars Channing Tatum (“Dear John,” “Step Up”) in a story inspired by his real life. The film follows Mike (Tatum) as he takes a young dancer called The Kid (Pettyfer) under his wing and schools him in the fine arts of partying, picking up women, and making easy money.”

Alongside Tatum will be a great cast, headed up by Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Olivia Munn, Riley Keough, Cody Horn, and of course, Matthew McConaughey.

Magic Mike will be released in the US on 29th June, before coming to the UK two weeks later on 13th July. All signs point to it being a must-see this summer. Check out the new trailer below.
