Written and directed by Sarah Polley, Take This Waltz debuted at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival to glowing reviews.

Michelle Williams, coming off a Best Actress Oscar nomination for My Week With Marilyn, stars opposite the excellent Seth Rogen, supported by Sarah Silverman and Luke Kirby.

We got our first look at the cast last summer, ahead of its TIFF debut, and now four lovely new images have surfaced online, including three from the film itself and one of Polley in the midst of directing, along with a brilliant new trailer.

“28-year-old Margot lives in Toronto with her husband Lou who writes cookbooks featuring recipes for chicken dishes. When she meets Daniel who lives across the street, there is an immediate connection between them. Although she stays faithful to Lou, her attraction to the seemingly perfect Daniel intensifies until she realizes something about herself and has to tell Lou about her feelings.”

With such strong talent in the leads and behind the camera – Polley is an Oscar nominee herself for her 2006 film, Away From Her – I have a feeling that this is definitely a drama-comedy we should all be looking out for.

Take This Waltz will have a limited US release on 29th June, and though no UK date has been scheduled yet, I’m really hoping that we’ll be seeing it arrive on our shores this summer too. I can’t wait. As usual with the images below, you can click to enlarge.
