Vertigo have released the first poster for their new movie, Pusher which stars Richard Coyle, Agyness Deyn, Bronson Webb and Paul Kaye.
The UK based movie has been adapted from the Danish movie with the same title Pusher which was directed by the man who brought us the coolest film of 2011 (that would be Drive incase you were wondering) Nicolas Winding Refn who acts as Executive Producer on this version of the movie.
Even this new poster has a whiff of the Drive marketing about it with the use of blues and purples that we saw on the Drive posters but the inspiration seems to come from the image that we put up of Richard Coyle a few weeks ago with the added glasses which if you look hard enough, also feature a stripper (Agyness Deyn)?
We’ve not had a full synopsis of the movie yet but this sentence tells you pretty much everything you need to know to at least get interested:
In London, a drug pusher’s (Coyle) life spins out of control over the course of one week.
Pusher is helmed by Luis Prieto and is set for release in the UK in May and with this marketing starting to filter through, we hope a trailer will be with us some time soon.
