I’ve been on a fair few missions trips to South America and Asia but I have to admit, none of them have gone quite like the journey that Gerard Butler’s character goes in in his new movie, Machine Gun Preacher. Most of the work I’ve done has involved working at orphanages and feeding centres but I guess when a Hollywood action hero does a mission trip, it has to have somewhat more of an edge!

The film also stars Michelle Monaghan?, Michael Shannon and is directed by Marc Foster (Monster’s Ball, Quantum of Solace?, World War Z?).
It’s out in the UK November 2nd.
