This is rather amazing and further cements my argument for why a sequel may be on the way as news breaks that The Inbetweeners Movie has become the biggest opening week box office earner for a comedy EVER in the UK taking (at present) £27,715,177!! This is an amazing number for a movie which according to various sources cost £3.5m to make. The numbers continue to rise for the movie which continues to break records all over the place. Just wait for the DVD to come out!

No doubt this figure will continue to rise as more and more people flock to the cinema to see Simon Bird?, James Buckley, Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas, Emily Head?, Belinda Stewart-Wilson and Greg Davies? all get up to some serious mischief! Massive congrats to everyone involved for making this such a success and above all, for making such a great movie! You can see our review here.

I’ve placed the press release below which has all the info.
