Coming on the heels of its success at the 64th annual Cannes Film Festival, The Weinstein Company have released the first official trailer and poster for The Artist.
Written and directed by Michel Hazanavicius, The Artist stars Jean Dujardin, Berenice Bejo, John Goodman, James Cromwell, Penelope Ann Miller, Malcolm McDowell and Missi Pyle.
Hollywood 1927. George Valentin (Dujardin) is a very successful silent movie star. The arrival of talking pictures will mark the end of his career. Peppy Miller (Bejo), a young woman extra, becomes a major movie star.
The Artist will be released in the US on November 23.
