The official website of David Fincher’s adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has been updated and there’s a whole host of new pictures and character profiles to give you an idea of the faces and names you’ll be getting involved with over the next few years.

I’m just starting out in the first of Stieg Larsson’s acclaimed trilogy and it’s the very definition of a page-turner with a tragic event and the subsequent mystery surrounding it being the spark to unfurling a twisted family history. The original Swedish films have done so well, and proved to be star Noomi Rapace’s ticket to Hollywood, that many questioned the necessity of an English Language remake, but with this cast and Fincher behind the camera it’s shaping up to be something very special indeed.

Here are the characters images, fresh from the pages of Collider, and there’s some of the film’s score from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross to hear below.
