Some lovely new images from Terence Davies’ latest, The Deep Blue Sea, which is set to show in Toronto this year.

The film is based on a play by Terence Rattigan and there’s a fine cast assembled for this one. It’s great to see Rachel Weisz taking on what looks to be a decent dramatic role as she’s proved more than capable of taking on the blockbuster fare such as The Mummy films but balances it nicely with the more demanding roles. Look out for Agora and The Brothers Bloom as well as The Constant Gardener for proof of this.

Tom Hiddleston likewise will be known to most now for his role in Thor, but roles in Archipelago and Spielberg’s forthcoming War Horse show an actor in high demand.
