It’s the Muppets. It’s a new poster. Why are you reading? Shoot your eyes downwards for another look at some glorious Muppetness.

Those requiring words – here are some relevant ones. Written by Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller, The Muppets is directed by James Bobin, and stars the man Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones and every cameo they could cram in.

Going back to their roots the new Muppets film is all about the show that must go on and bringing the gang back to the big screen means a departure from the Muppetisation of famous literary properties such as The Wizard of Oz and the sublime Muppets Christmas Carol and we’re back to basics.

The Muppets is scheduled to hit US cinemas on November 23rd. UK fans, however, will have to wait until February 12, 2012. Which, when you think about it – is rubbish. Empire’s Big Screen should have something abut the film so keep an eye out if you’re going along.

Here’s the poster, another spoof but this time Sam the Eagle gets his Captain America on. Love it.

Three hearty cheers for that Den of Geek, who found this one.
