More dwarves on display tonight as the slow, but welcome, drip of images introducing the characters we will no doubt grow to love in Peter Jackson’s two film adaptation of The Hobbit continues.
UK readers will be pleased to see one James Nesbitt front and centre here as Bofur (alongside Stephen Hunter as Bombur and William Kircher as Bifur) and it’s a family affair as the blurb goes on to detail,
While most of the Company of Thorin Oakensheild is related to the royal and noble line of Durin, Bofur, his brother Bombur and their cousin Bifur most definitely are … not. Born and bred in the West, descendants of coal miners and iron workers, they have joined the Quest for the Lonely Mountain partly to seek their fortune and partly because they were told the beer was free.
I’m a little afraid of that one on the left. In fact, they all scare me.
