After long delays and studio changes, the first official still for the Joss Whedon-produced Cabin in the Woods has officially been released.
Acquired by Lionsgate back in May, Cabin in the Woods was written and directed by Drew Goddard, and stars Chris Hemsworth, Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Jesse Williams, Fran Kranz, Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison and Amy Acker.
A twisted and unusual take on the familiar “cabin in the woods” formula.
While the still doesn’t give us much of an insight into the films tone or overall direction, it does provide hope that the long-delayed horror film is finally on its way to cinema screens.
