FilmDistrict have released a new poster for the Guillermo del Toro-produced chiller Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark.
Directed by Troy Nixey, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark stars Guy Pearce (The Hurt Locker), Katie Holmes (Batman Begins), Bailee Madison (Just Go with It), Alan Dale (Star Trek: Nemesis), Jack Thompson (The Good German) and Nicholas Bell (Shine).
A young girl (Madison) sent to live with her father (Pearce) and his new girlfriend (Holmes) discovers creatures in her new home who want to claim her as one of their own.
Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark was originally scheduled to be released in January, but due to Miramax’s closure, it was delayed indefinitely. FilmDistrict picked up the rights recently, and plan to release the film later in the year.
