Here’s a brief behind the scenes introduction to Rupert Wyatt’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes, the present day set prequel answering the question of how the damn, dirty apes took over.
The recently released trailer was pretty impressive and has positioned this film as far more of an exciting prospect than the premise suggests. Along with some excellent concept art the film is taking shape and this short featurette should set things up for you nicely.
It’s good to see the production for this film joining The Hobbit among others in dealing out DVD extra-esque sneak peeks while the film is in production, personally I can’t wait for more of the Weta work with Andy Serkis to hit the interwebs.
