This weekend, the first screenings of Thor took place right here in London Town with a Q&A yesterday at Kapow ComicCon. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston were both present and I was supposed to be but decided that waiting around for two hours to see them after the Green Lantern panel was a bit too long! Today, Ben got to see the movie and attend the press conference but we’re not allowed to tell you anything about it unfortunately for a few more days! We’re such teasers!
What we can do however is show you the official photos from the Thor Press Conference where both the men above were present along with director, Kenneth Brannagh. Love the backdrop from this press conference! Top marks to whoever sorted that!! Also love love love the portrait image of Hemsworth with the massive Thor picture above him. Shame he has his eyes shut a little but still a great shot. Can’t find who took these pics but if it was you, please let me know so I can give you the credit you deserve.
Thor is directed by Kenneth Branagh and Chris Hemsworth as the title character alongside Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Stellan Skarsgård, Ray Stevenson and Rene Russo.
We can expect to see it in the UK 28th April 2011.
Synopsis: Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior, is sent down to Earth has punishment for reigniting a reckless war. But after a dangerous villain from his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth, the hammer-wielding Thor will learn what it takes to be a true hero in order to save mankind.
