It’s going to be an emotional year for the millions of Harry Potter fans around the world as July sees the final Harry Potter film hit the big screen.

Knowing that fans are keen to see as much of Rowling’s book on screen as possible Warner Bros have included some deleted scenes on the forthcoming home entertainment release for Deathly Hallows Part 1 for we’ve got an exclusive look at a moment you didn’t see in the cinemas.

April the 11th is the date to mark in your diaries as the DVD and Blu-ray of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 hit stores, and Potter fans will be quick to dive into the special features and the other deleted scenes, and they’ll be rewarded if the rest are as good as this one. It’s a small moment, and perhaps may have affected the pacing of the film, but it’s a powerful scene and really worth watching.

No magic, no wands, no woodland chasing – just years and years of embittered emotion conveyed in a few simple words – here’s your first look at the moment Harry, and Aunt Petunia, say goodbye to Privet Drive.
