Milenium Entertainment (via Apple) have debuted the second trailer (1st here) for Trust, a new movie which stars Clive Owen, Catherine Keener, Jason Clarke, Liana Liberato, Viola Davis. Trust is also directed by your Friend and mine, David Schwimmer who played Ross in the long running series, Friends. This is his second feature length movie following his debut, directing Simon Pegg and Thandie Newton in ‘Run Fatboy Run’ a few years ago. This movie looks rather a look more serious looking at the subject of how we interact with one another online and who, really, we’ve no idea who we could be talking to.

Synopsis: A suburban family is torn apart when 14-year-old Annie (Liana Liberato) meets her first boyfriend online. After months of communicating via online chat and phone, Annie discovers her friend is not who he originally claimed to be. Shocked into disbelief, her parents (Clive Owen and Catherine Keener) are shattered by their daughter’s actions and struggle to support her as she comes to terms with what has happened to her once innocent life.

Trust looks intense but brilliant and I’m very much looking forward to seeing it.

No UK release date that we can find as yet but we’ll keep you posted.
