Casting Ian McShane is a good way to get us interested in another Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and Blackbeard joins the list of nautical adversaries setting themselves up against Captain Jack Sparrow.
A new picture has made its way online showing off the man, the beard and his sword.
No idea if Blackbeard will be the main villain beyond this POTC film (Pirates 5 is already being written), but McShane will be a highlight for those returning to the high seas for another adventure.
