We’ve brought you all the news that’s fit to print on Scorsese’s first foray into 3D, The Invention of Hugo Cabret. Now MTV have grabbed a chat with Chloe Moretz, hot off star-making turns as Hit Girl in Kick-Ass and Abby in Let Me In, who has spoken about her experiences on set and in particular acting alongside Borat himself, Sacha Baron Cohen.

In Hugo Cabret, Moretz befriends a street urchin who has lost his father and they go an adventure through a Parisian train station. Cohen plays a train ticket inspector and Moretz said this of him:-

“Sacha is such an amazing guy, and he’s actually really proper. Like you meet him and he’s like, ‘Oh hello.’ And I’m like, ‘OK, what happened to Borat and Bruno?”

The set, through which Moretz and Asa Butterfield enjoy their adventure is said to be hugely elaborate. Moretz said of the set and the film in general:-

“It’s a whole train station. It’s amazing. It’s phenomenal. It’s something I’ve never been a part of before.”

Hugo Cabret hits US screens on December 9th and if there is any justice in the world, UK screens around the same time.
