Rooney-Mara.com have posted a number of photos of Rooney Mara on the set of David Fincher’s adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s blockbuster crime novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the first in the Millennium trilogy.
The photos show Mara in her full costume as Lisbeth Salander and give us our first look at Fincher’s vision of the novels and how that differs from the Swedish originals.
In addition, ITN have captured video footage of Daniel Craig on set. Craig stars as journalist Mikael Blomkvist.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo also stars Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Robin Wright, Stellan Skarsgard, Steven Berkoff and David Dencik.

Sony Pictures will release The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on December 21, 2011.
