Yahoo! Movies have unveiled a breathtaking theatrical trailer for Derek Cianfrance’s indie-drama Blue Valentine.
Blue Valentine – which was unfortunately awarded the dreaded NC-17 rating by the MPAA earlier today – stars Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling as a contemporary married couple. The film charts their evolution over a span of years by cross-cutting between time periods.
The trailer is gives a beautiful and tantalizing insight into the films turbulent narrative, and the leads’ truly definitive performances.
Blue Valentine will be released in the US on December 31. Unfortunately, a UK release has not yet been confirmed.
