Olivia Wilde, star of the long-running medical drama House, has been added to the cast of Universal Pictures’ upcoming comedy The Change Up.

Wilde will star alongside Ryan Reynolds (The Proposal) and Jason Bateman (The Switch), who have previously been cast in the project.

David Dobkin will direct from a script penned by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the two men responsible for 2009’s sleeper hit, The Hangover.

The Change Up centers on a married man who switches bodies with his slacker best friend (Reynolds). Wilde is set to play Bateman’s law firm co-worker, who’s an impetus for the body switch.

Filming is expected to commence sometime this Autumn.

Wilde will next be seen in Paul Haggis’ crime-drama The Next Three Days, which also stars Russell Crowe, Elizabeth Banks and Liam Neeson.

Deadline reported this one.
