It’s about time us Brits had our own homemade alien action flick!
News has come in (via Moviehole) that Roger Christian is in talks to direct a sci-fi adventure film called Transmission. The site states that he won an Oscar for his work as art director on Star Wars, but fails to mention that the same director was responsible for the John Travolta sci-fi “epic”, Battlefield Earth. I wonder why?
Perhaps in a more reassuring move, the film will be shot in 3D and established UK talent like Bob Hoskins, Jason Flemyng and Talulah Riley are attached to star (with the possibility of Willem Dafoe joining in on the action).
