First Look at Ian McShane as Blackbeard in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

It’s been a little while since we saw anything from the fourth installment of Disney / Jerry Bruckheimer’s Pirates of the Caribbean but this very evening, Pop Sugar (via ComingSoon) have posted the very first look at Blackbeard as played by legendary British actor, Ian McShane in full costume. He’s standing in between Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz who we also have an image of below.

The movie is currently filming in after shooting in Hawaii but the production is moving to the UK and Pinewood Studios to be exact which is most exciting!

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is released May 2011, is directed by Rob Marshall and also stars Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Sam Claflin, Stephen Graham, Yuki Matsuzaki and Gemma Ward.
