The Playlist have posted the first trailer, and the first promotional still, from Womb.
Womb is an indie-drama, and co-production between Germany/Hungary/France. Benedek Fliegauf directed the film, and it stars Eva Green, Matt Smith, Lesley Manville, Peter Wright and Hannah Murray.
Synopsis: A woman’s (Green) consuming love forces her to bear the clone of her dead beloved. From his infancy to manhood, she faces the unavoidable complexities of her controversial decision.
Womb looks like a perfectly executed indie-drama, showcasing Green and Smith’s incredibly unique acting range and chemistry.
Womb will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month.

Olive Films will distribute Womb in the US. Fingers crossed a studio picks it up for UK release.
