James Cameron’s Avatar is to be re-released in cinemas and in this interview with our friends from Upbeat, Cameron talks about why they had to cut certain scenes and what we can expect from this new special edition. He talks about why they had to cut nearly an hour from the original movie and what they learnt from the first 2hr + movie in 3d.
He also talks briefly about what we can expect from the second and third movies which he’ll be writing over the next 2 months. He says that the second movie will focus more on the back story of the characters.
