Danny Boyle took the stage at Empire’s Movie Con to talk up his next film 127 Hours.

Starring James Franco the film, recently chosen to close the 2010 London Film Festival, tells the true story of Aron Ralston, a mountaineer who becomes trapped by a boulder and has to make a tremendous sacrifice to escape.

Boyle teamed up with his Slumdog Millionaire producer Christian Coulson and writer Simon Beaufoy and the film stars Franco, Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara.

The director spoke of the challenges of the film, both for the production team and the audience and this is sure to be another hit for the Oscar winning team.
