On stage at Movie Con III in London for an Ironclad panel Jason Flemyng spoke about his, previously unknown, role in Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class.
He will play Azazel, who according to this site, is the father to Nightcrawler, the teleporting mutant played by Alan Cumming in the Bryan Singer directed X2.
Flemyng confirmed that his character will also teleport and that there’ll be a CGI tail as part of his costume, though we don’t know much else at the moment and the actor gave no indication as to the size of the role for Azazel.
A regular feature in Vaughn’s films he can be seen in Kick-Ass being shot through the cheek by Chloe Moretz, or having his throat slit in the bath in Stardust.
