Get ready for your minds to be blown Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger fans, for Yahoo have just posted the first posters for Thor and Captain America ahead of Comic-Con 2010.
I may be wrong but I don’t remember a time when two movies that were effectively stand alone had such a parallel marketing campaign. These new posters released by Marvel / Paramount Pictures are more like concept drawings but show both Thor and Captain America in battle. They also tie in nicely with the high resolution image that Alex put up earlier today of the Throne Room from Thor.
If you look very closely at the images, they both seem to have been signed by two different artists. The Thor poster was designed by Charlie Wen and the Captain America poster by Ryan Meinerding. I’ve just done a bit more research on Ryan Meinerding and you can check out more of his work on his website here and Charlie Wen’s blog is here.
