Marvel have been saying for ages that they weren’t sure whether or not their movies were going to be in 3d. Well, turns out that they now know as the LA Times’ Blog, Hero Complex (via Firstshowing) have a brand new images from Thor and news that both Captain America and Thor will be in 3d.

With Comic-Con fast approaching, we’re getting more an more info just like this news before the studios hit us with their big announcements at the biggest movie convention in the world. Thor is directed by Kenneth Branagh and Hero Complex make a point of the fact that Branagh will use the event to show off his cast which includes Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins.

Branagh: “We came to feel that in our case 3-D could be the very good friend of story and character for a different kind of experience”
